Despite this, the average daily power usage by the McDonald's estate through upgrading machinery and faster, more proactive maintenance was 2.45 Kw/H (8.7%) per day LESS than Q2 2024.

As a result, running the McDonald’s estate in 2025 was 8.5% cheaper overall

As a byproduct, this reduced the CO2e output in 139 x McOpCo restaurants by 31.6tonnes
